Free Recycling for Sunset Beach Residents

We announce with great pleasure that the new SBHOA Committee have successfully arranged for free collection of recyclable materials in Sunset Beach. The City of Cape Town will be collecting recyclable material from Sunset Beach residents once a week from 1 December 2016.

Please remember to place your paper, cans, bottles and plastic in bags, outside your gate ON A TUESDAY. It is helpful to the recycling process to give these items a quick rinse prior to discarding them.

New users can place their recycling out in normal plastic bags or boxes and they will find a plastic bag replaced into their post box once collected.

eWaste must not be going into this recycling, but rather be dropped off at the Recycling Collection bin at Makro in Milnerton.  Just ask the security or any Makro employee if you cant locate the bin.  Thank you.

Quarterly report from the Table Bay Nature Reserve: July to September 2016

The Rietvlei Water Area is a key feature in the Table Bay Nature Reserve as it used intensively for watersport and shore-based recreation. The highlight of this quarter was the re-launching of the City’s refurbished double-jetty which is used by water users to embark and disembark from launched vessels.
